I'm a family photographer based in Caterham, a short drive along the Downs from Reigate, and it's one of my favourite places to shoot. You get a proper town park, open heath and some of the best views in Surrey within a few minutes of each other, so the session can be as gentle or as wide-open as your family fancies.
Sessions are built around your family rather than a list of poses. We take our time, let the children set the pace, and the honest moments in between are the ones you keep.

Priory Park is the easy one: lawns, mature trees and the lake, all a short walk from the High Street. Reigate Heath gives you sandy paths, gorse and the old windmill for something wilder, and Reigate Hill and Colley Hill open up the view right across the Weald when you want the big sky. Prefer to stay in? Your own home and garden make wonderfully warm photos.

Priory Park is the easiest place to start: lawns, big trees and the lake, minutes from the High Street. Reigate Heath is lovely when you want something wilder, with sandy paths and the windmill, and Reigate Hill and Colley Hill give you the long view over the Weald. Your own home and garden work beautifully too. We choose the spot on a quick planning call.
Yes. Reigate and Redhill sit side by side and I photograph across both, along with Betchworth, Leigh, Sidlow and the villages around them. I'm based in Caterham, so it's a short hop, and travel within 30 miles is included in every session.
Sessions start at £299 for The Story: about two hours at one location, with 30 to 40 photos, colour-corrected and finished in my style. The Whole Day is £545. Every price is upfront and there is nothing to pay to enquire. Albums and prints come later, once you have seen your photos.
Late afternoon, most of the year. The light softens, the crowds thin out and the view off Colley Hill is at its best. With very young children we sometimes go early instead, when everyone is fresher. We work it out together when we plan the day.
