People ask me for something shorter than a full session all the time. Something quick, in nice light, that gets them a handful of photographs they’ll keep without losing half a Saturday to it. So a few times a year I run exactly that, in small rounds, and they go quickly.
There are two kinds. Family and seasonal minis are twenty-five minutes in one lovely spot, usually built around a time of year worth photographing. Brand Days are fifteen minutes back to back, for a sharp headshot or a handful of images for your website.
Both work the same way I work on everything else. I don’t pose anyone. We walk, or we talk, and I photograph what happens. The only difference is the clock.
Rounds are announced to the list first, and they usually fill from it. Put your name down and I’ll tell you when the next one opens. It costs nothing and there is nothing to decide until there is.
So a mini plays to that rather than against it. One spot in good light, no travelling between locations and nothing to change into.
Family & seasonal
£95 / 25 minutes
One spot, chosen for the light and the time of year. One family group, dogs welcome and encouraged. Eight photographs, colour-corrected and finished in my style, in a private gallery within two weeks.
You don’t pick the date or the place, and there’s no room for extended family or outfit changes. If you want those, The Story is two hours wherever suits you, with the whole gallery, at £299.
Brand Days
£75 / 15 minutes
A sharp headshot, or a handful of images for a website or a feed that needs filling. A taster of a full brand session, at a fraction of it, for people who aren’t ready to book half a day.
Fifteen minutes is one look and one setting, so come as you’d want to be seen. If you need variety, locations and a proper library of images, a full brand session is the one.
Both run in small rounds a few times a year, usually four to eight slots. They are announced to the list before anywhere else.

A few things worth knowing before a round opens.
For this, yes. We're in one spot, in good light, with no travelling between locations and no outfit changes. Children tend to give you their best fifteen minutes anyway, so the format plays to that rather than against it. If you want a longer, slower session that follows you around, book The Story instead. That's two hours, wherever suits you, and you get the whole gallery rather than eight frames.

Somewhere in or near Caterham, picked for the light and for easy parking. I settle the exact spot before any slots are handed out and email it to everyone on the list, with a what3words pin, so nobody commits to somewhere they haven't seen or spends their twenty-five minutes looking for me.
Every round has a backup date held behind it. If the weather makes the shoot impossible I move everyone across, and I make that call the day before rather than leaving you standing in a field wondering. Light drizzle is usually fine, and often rather beautiful, so I only move it for proper rain.
Eight photographs from a family or seasonal mini, and five from a Brand Day, colour-corrected and finished in my style in a private online gallery within two weeks. Two things you can add afterwards, once you've seen them: a fine art print at £35, or every good frame from your session rather than the selection, at £45. Nothing is decided on the day, so there is no sales pitch at the end of your slot.
One family group per slot, so parents and children. Dogs are welcome and always improve the photographs. If you want grandparents, cousins and the wider family in the frame, book a full session instead, because twenty-five minutes won't do a big group justice. Brand Days are one person per slot.
