I’m Elena (pronounced like “Eleanor”).
People tend to work with me because they want photographs that feel real, calm and genuinely like them, not overly posed or performative.
I photograph families, couples and personal brands in a documentary-led way. I focus on what’s actually happening rather than trying to manufacture moments. The way someone reaches for a hand. The way children move when they forget they’re being watched. The expressions that appear once people stop thinking about how they look.
I guide when it’s helpful and step back when it matters. Sessions are relaxed and unforced, with just enough structure to make things feel easy rather than awkward.
I live in Surrey with my husband and our eight-year-old son. Alongside photography, I run an HR consultancy, so my working life revolves around people, behaviour and trust. That experience shapes how I photograph. I read situations quickly, anticipate moments and create an environment where you can feel yourself.
